Why do you need 3mm Bleed?

Bleed creates leniency to your final product for your printhouse

Not a trained designer? That's ok - You’re likely to come across a few terms that you may not understand when ordering with printulu. One of the terms used regularly is bleed, we need between 3 to 5mm bleed for any print job.

Why? The machines that trims your product can cause slight guillotine movements that can leave a white edge on your artwork. If you set your artwork up with 3mm extra design all around your final printed product size, you'll ensure that the end result is beautifully finished. Remember to keep the extra 3mm all around clear of text or elements you don't want to lose.
